I am seeking information regarding the provision of temporary accommodation in your local authority. I am seeking answers to the following: 1. Could you please provide me with a breakdown of the number of individuals/families you housed in temporary accommodation each year for the previous four years? Could you please break this down by financial year starting from 2019/20? 2. Could you please provide me with the total amount spent on temporary accommodation across the last five years? Could you please break this down by financial year starting 2019/20 3. Could you please provide the names of all of the companies you paid for accommodation that was used as temporary accommodation across the last four years? Could you please break this down by financial year starting 2019/20? Could this be providing on an excel spreadsheet in the below format for each year: Name of company Number of temporary accommodation (rooms/flats) Total amount paid 19/20 eg) Temporary Accommodation Hotels Ltd. 39 rooms £43,000 TA providers Ltd 4 rooms £12,000 If you are unable to provide this four all for years but can provide for the last one, or two etc, please do that.

A breakdown of the total expenditure for each year on: (a.) rent paid to private landlords, (b.) deposits, (c.) fees/commissions paid to letting agents, and (d.) any other associated costs (please specify) I would like this information provided in an Excel spreadsheet or other digital document format if possible.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we request the following information: 1. How much money the council has paid to hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts and guest houses for use as temporary or emergency accomodation for homeless households in the last four full financial years. (Note: if you are unable to provide data for 2022/23, please take the previous four full financial years i.e. 2018/19 to 2021/22) 2. How many households the council has placed in hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, and guest houses in the last four full financial years. (Note: if you are unable to provide data for 2022/23, please take the previous four full financial years i.e. 2018/19 to 2021/22) 3. How long each household spent in the hotel, hostel, bed and breakfast or guest house placed in by the council before being placed in a self-contained housing (eg. a flat or house) or before the council discharged their housing duty. 4. A list of the hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts and guest houses the council has used to house households in the last four full financial years. a) Please ensure that the response is clear where the same provider has been used in more than one financial year. As you know, under the act you are required to provide a response within 20 days. If you do not provide the information requested, you must explain the legal basis for the information being withheld. If you decline part of the request due to information being sensitive, the request being too vague, or reasonable cost being exceeded, you must still provide the part you can fulfil. Please find below some questions about how the council is implementing Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG): 1. Please can you fill in the table below to indicate what, if any, software the council has obtained specifically to help with implementing the following aspects of BNG? BNG-related need Software obtained for this purpose Validation of applications, including checking that the correct version of the Biodiversity Metric has been submitted. Determination of applications subject to BNG, including assessment of ecological considerations. Determining if the biodiversity gain objective (biodiversity gain condition) is met. Monitoring of planning obligations set out under S106 agreements or Conservation Covenants, analogous to other planning obligations. Ecological monitoring of BNG habitats, a new statutory duty required by legislation, including ensuring that individual habitats on a given site are progressing in line with expectations set out in the Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan.
