Dear Sir/Madam, Please treat this enquiry as a Freedom of Information request. From 1 April 2025, your authority is able to charge council tax at up to 2 times the normal rate on second homes. Please can you tell me, for the financial year 2025/26, (a) What rate of council tax you will charge on second homes, and (b) Your forecast of additional income from any premium above the normal rate, and (c) Whether you have adopted a policy to make any of this additional income available for new community led housing in your area.
