I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act: 1. The total number of EV charging stations installed each year, from 2015-2022 2. The current number of installed EV charging stations in your authority area 3. The proposed number of EV charging stations to be installed in 2023 4. The average cost of installing an EV charging station 5. The total number of planning applications for private EV charging stations that have been approved for each year, from 2015-2022 6. The total number of planning applications that are in progress (to date) for private EV charging stations

1.The total number of EV charging stations installed each year, from 2015-2022
In Oxford City through Oxford City Council projects (charging points not sockets):
2015= 0
2016= 0
2017= 21
2018= 16
2019= 2
2020= 0
2021= 6
2022= 32
2023= 8 (to date)
2. The current number of installed EV charging stations in your authority area
Charge points (not sockets) through Oxford City Council projects- 74
Public charge points (not sockets) in Oxford City- 119
3. The proposed number of EV charging stations to be installed in 2023
Through Oxford City Council three vandalised charge points will be replaced in 2023.
4. The average cost of installing an EV charging station
The cost of installing a charge point varies greatly based on the location (e.g., car park/on-street),
the charge point specifications (e.g., number of sockets and power) and the installation process
(e.g., whether a street works licence is required/ whether a supplementary bollard is needed to
maintain pavement width etc.).
5. The total number of planning applications for private EV charging stations that have been
approved for each year, from 2015-2022 - 4 (all in 2021/22)
6. The total number of planning applications that are in progress (to date) for private EV charging
stations - 0
