Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information: If your council was involved in the Local Government Reorganisation, how much money did it spend on the LGR up until the government announced it would be reviewing it on 7 September 2026.

Oxford City Council was involved in Local Government Reorganisation.
The Council’s latest financial information indicates that, up to 8 September 2026, it had spent an
estimated £721,000 on Local Government Reorganisation from the 2024/25 financial year
onwards. This is an estimated expenditure figure, rather than the value of external work
commissioned.
