I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from your local authority. Please may you provide me with: · Information on the service your authority provides for vulnerable people in need of housing related support, aimed at helping them live independently (a service similar to the Supporting People Programme - known as Floating Support in some areas); ·
Response
We do not provide floating support. We link into agencies in the area that can provide that service.
However, we have officers that work with vulnerable residents to enable them to sustain their tenancies.
