In accordance with section 1(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), Oxford City Council (OCC) confirms that it holds information falling within the scope of your request.
The information below covers the period from 1 April 2026 to 9 July 2026, where applicable.
* Whether any events have been organised for Pride month. If so please provide the date, start and end time, and title/topic of the event
The Museum of Oxford provided a Pride gallery trail throughout June 2026. This was available throughout the month rather than being a single timed event.
The Museum of Oxford also delivered the following walking tour:

Oxford’s Queer History walking tour |
The walking tour forms part of the Museum of Oxford’s regular programme and is repeated during the season. It was not organised exclusively for Pride Month.
In addition, a Museum of Oxford officer attended Oxford Pride on 6 June 2026 with the Museum Bike as part of the Museum’s grant-funded summer outreach programme. This was attendance at an externally organised event rather than an event organised by OCC.

These products were purchased as retail stock and were not purchased specifically for Pride Month. The Museum of Oxford shop maintains a year-round Pride section.
* Whether the organisation has sponsored any Pride events. If so which events and please provide details of the nature of the sponsorship (particularly the financial value)
OCC did not sponsor any Pride events during the period covered by your request.
OCC did, however, award grant funding of £4,500 to Oxford Pride for the 2026/27 financial year. This was grant funding rather than commercial or event sponsorship.
In accordance with section 16 of the FOIA, which concerns the duty to provide reasonable advice and assistance, OCC has distinguished between activities organised or delivered by OCC, attendance at an externally organised event, and grant funding provided to Oxford Pride.
This response provides OCC’s recorded position in relation to the matters raised.
