1. The number of SMEs (small and medium enterprises) there are in Oxford, if possible broken down by 'small' and 'medium'.
The information requested is publicly available through NOMIS and is therefore exempt from disclosure under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, as it is reasonably accessible to you by other means.

2. Their total turnover.
3. What that is as a percentage of the city economy.
4. Whether the answer to Question 3 includes public institutions such as universities, councils, hospitals and schools.
5. If the answer to Question 4 is negative, what figures are available for turnover of such public institutions.
The Council does not hold the information requested in Questions 2–5.
