Please provide me with the following information under the Freedom of Information Act. Councils in Bournemouth, Medway, St Ives and Bolton have announced that they are not turning on Christmas lights this year as part of cost saving measures. 1. Please provide me with the total costs of Christmas lights in the 2022/23 financial year. 2. Please tell me whether the council is intending to turn on Christmas lights in the 2023/24 financial year. 3. If the answer to (2) is no, please explain give the reason for not turning on Christmas lights this year. 4. If the answer to (2) is yes, please provide a projection of the costs. If it is not possible to provide some of the data requested, I would be grateful if you could provide whichever elements of this FOI request are eligible for release.
