8 on street charging sockets were constructed as buildouts on the highway to cater to the limited pavement space and enhance provision for those with accessibility needs in 2019.
Q3. For Question 1, how many on-street public charging outlets or chargepoints are positioned in disabled parking bays?
Zero.
Q4. For Question 1, how many of the on-street residential chargepoints in your area conform to the BSI's latest accessible charging specification (PAS 1899:2022)? Please provide figures to the nearest possible date.
Zero. All on-street CP sockets installed post-2019 have been lamppost chargers. Due to the space restrictions surrounding the CPs, we were unable to conform to the latest PAS 1899:2022 standards during installations.
Q5. Does your electric vehicle charging infrastructure strategy include specific considerations for elderly and / or disabled users?
Yes. Our policy objectives are broken into six key themes, one of which is "Facilitating a fair and accessible EV infrastructure for Oxford City". Across all three key strategic areas, there is a commitment to enhancing accessibility for multiple user groups. A link to our EV strategy can be found here. https://www.oxford.gov.uk/downloads/file/8353/oxford_electric_vehicle_infrastructure_strategy

Our on-street bollard chargers enable contactless payment and roaming, reducing the need for multiple apps for different charging providers.
